Research On Logistics Scheme Of Multimodal Transportation Along The Chang Jiang River In Chongqing

Economic development is closely related to efficient freight transportation system.Comprehensive freight transportation system is the development tendency of the future efficient freight system,the core of which should be the effective connection and integration of various modes of transportation such as railway,highway and waterway.Multimodal transportation,therefore,is supposed to be the embodiment of this type of integration.As an advanced form of transportation,multimodal transportation integrates various modes of transportation together to give full play to the advantages of each of them.This type of transportation mode not only could help to reduce transport cost,but also could help to improve the efficiency of transportation.In this sense,how to establish proper transportation mode and construct appropriate transport corridor seem particularly important.In the current international trade,multimodal transportation is a commonly used mode.However,at the same time of wide spread of it,the construction of transport corridor for multimodal transportation in Chongqing,a riverside city,comparatively lags behind the rapid development of the port handling capacity,which brings about great challenges to the construction of transport corridor for multimodal transportation in Chongqing.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the multimodal transportation mechanism in Chongqing.This paper,on the basis of analyzing relevant domestic and foreign researches,introducing related theories of multimodal transportation and analyzes the supply of goods in Chongqing city.The cost of different transportation modes is then analyzed.Meanwhile,suggestions are given to the construction of multimodal transportation corridor from the perspective of node selection and mechanism establishment,hoping to provide reference to Chongqing's further development.The main content of this paper mainly includes the analyses of the logistics development status quo of riverside comprehensive transportation nodes in Chongqing,encompassing logistics capacity of the nodes,goods kinds and proportion,operation procedure of the highway-railway-waterway multimodal transportation,the cost of every links as well as operating time.The analyses of the current situation of freight volume,direction as well as logistics channels in Chongqing.Besides,it points out some existing problems of logistics are followed.From the perspective of cost andtime of the logistics,the procedures of highway-railway-waterway multimodal transportation in the riverside integrated transportation nodes are analyzed to put forward strategies for logistics cost control.And then various schemes proposed are compared in terms of time,cost and policy risks.And then selections are made on the basis of the comprehensive evaluation.Finally,in the conclusion part,it provides some suggestions on the development in terms of logistics cost control and multimodal transportation corridor construction.
