With the development of various engineering construction in our country,there are more and more side slopes whose problems have become the object of many experts.In this paper,the factors influencing the slope stability are comprehensively analyzed with the case study of the slope engineering of ±1100k V converter station in Xuancheng.The deformation failure mode and the mechanism of side slope stability under complex geological conditions are discussed,and the stability of the slope is evaluated.Combined with the stability analysis of the slopes under complex geological conditions,more economical and reasonable reinforcement measures are proposed.The treatment scheme is simulated by large-scale finite element software called MIDAS / GTS,and the rationality and effectiveness of reinforcement measures are verified.The main research contents and work are as follows:(1)The advantages and disadvantages of the side slope stability analysis method are compared and analyzed,and the hydrogeological conditions,geology and geomorphology,hydrogeological conditions,geological factors and external conditions of the side slope stability are analyzed.Based on the soil test data of selected slopes,the geological conditions of a slope in the converter station are summarized,and the geological characteristics of a specific selected slope are analyzed and evaluated.(2)The two-dimensional model is established by using large-scale finite element software.The safety factor of the original slope is obtained by numerical calculation of the suitable geological parameters,and the stability of the original slope is analyzed as well.The reinforcement measures of the slope problems are put forward,and the implementation plan of the reinforcement measures is carried out.(3)The validity of the reinforcement measures and its value in the reinforcement of the slope are verified by the comparative analysis of the slope reinforcement.By taking measures to monitor the slope displacement in real time and comparing the monitoring value of the slope displacement with the simulation value of MIDAS / GTS software,the consistency between the simulated value of MIDAS / GTS software and the monitoring value verify the high practicability of MIDAS / GTS software in the project.It is worth promoting the application in the project,and at the same time it provides a reference for the same type of project in the future.
