With the rapid development of society,there are increasing numbers of electrical equipment are promoted,and the applied complexity are followed by,evoking new demand on management of electricity equipment.As the main connect component of the power supply and the electrical equipment,socket plays a vital role in the equipment management.However,most of the sold smart sockets currently only met the demand of remote power supply control,which is far from enough in electricity management of the equipment.This system realized controlling switches of electric equipment remotely,while collecting energy expenditure and related indicators of working conditions.After the analysis of examined data,the operation curve and energy consumption curve of equipment were attained,providing reference for rational and failsafe management of electricity equipment.In the current study,a detailed functional analysis of each component of smart socket system was presented.The analysis included dissecting terminal of smart socket providing data,data acquisition that forward data,time server which synchronized time and database server storing data.Secondly,according to these analyses,hardware and software of smart socket were then designed.The hardware design includes modules like power conversion,data acquisition,clock,relay control and data transmission.Moreover,collecting data,synchronizing time,controlling remotely and communicating wireless were involved in the functions of software design.Software and server of data collection were also allocated in the system.The former was utilized to collect data and remote control,and the latter disposes NTP time server and definite database table.Finally,system running test was completed in the laboratory environment,while data was collected via monitoring a computer host connecting to smart socket for seven days.Then equipment operation monitoring curve and energy consumption curve were obtained,contributing to reasonable and safe management of electricity equipment.
