The benefit of grid enterprise and social development are related to the safe operation of grid.As a significant part of electric power grid,transmission line directly affects the safe operation of electric power system.As a result of the complex terrain and harsh natural environment of transmission line,it's more and more difficult to meet the demand of lean management for the traditional manual inspection mode,which is high risk,low efficiency and difficult.UAV inspection has been carried out,however,there's no actual operation,scientific management system and method.In this paper,research on the above problems is developed,aiming to establish a scientific and efficient new inspection management system.Firstly,investigation and analysis on the current situation of transmission line inspection,the difficulties and the advantages of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)inspection.The general situation,system structure and function of UAV are described.Secondly,based on the analysis of the current situation and inspection demand,the Inspection Mode of Small Electric Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for Transmission Line(IMSEUAVTL)has been put forward.The safety,quality,cost and benefit characteristics of fixed-wing UAV,rotor UAV and manual inspection has been fully summarized.According to the advantages and characteristics of two types UAV,the inspection content and methods,as well as collaborative principle for emergency and special inspection,fault detection,line check inspection has been studied.Moreover,the UAV system configuration,job settings,training and performance supervision system has been defined.Finally,the cost of UAV inspection has been analysed.By using the methods of documents research,system analysis,analytic hierarchy process and Delphi method,the extraction,identification and classification for the affecting factors of UAV inspection efficiency has been performed.It is classified into five categories: terrain condition,tower height,weather condition,inspection object and road condition.On this basis,the influence coefficient of quality,cost,safety,efficiency,economy and so on has been evaluated and enactmented.The IMSEUAVTL discussed in this paper provides a strong guarantee for improving the operation of transmission line,promoting enterprise management and stable operation of grid.
