Wind power is the main form of new energy development and utilization,small wind turbines are important parts of wind power.Because of its advantages,such as economy and flexible,small wind turbines are widely used in various fields.Topics from the engineering practice,by 300W battery charging controller of small wind turbines as the research object,to research.Through the software platform MATLAB/SIMIULINK for 300W wind turbines,building model and simulating,the simulation results can accurately reflect the actual turbines operation process.In order to make charging controller intelligently to service small wind turbines,adding the function of the residual capacity of battery in charging controller.Refering to a large number of literature to formulate a design solution.The Hardware aspect PIC16F877A as control chip,schematic design,selection of components and PCB board system.The Software aspect,MPLAB-IED as operation platform,by PICC compiler control program for the C programming language.Studying the residual capacity of battery and charging controller,for 300W small residual capacity of wind turbine to increase the detection function,can be used for the development of the controller to provide certain theoretical guiding significance.
