Absorption heat pump is a complicated heat transfer system consists of many components,working medium of different phases,fluxion and coupled heat transfer process,and a system work dynamically which have many coupled parameters.A dynamic model of absorption heat pump was built based on these acknowledgement.The mathematic model was built according to the physical parameters provided by Trane company.A 300 k W absorption heat pump was designed by a series of experiential functions.Simulink was used,to design a 60 k W heat pump.A 50 MW turbine was chosen to be coupled with heat pump.The aim of using heat pump was to recollect the exhaust heat of recycling water and waste steam which could be used for supplying central-heating and heating feed water in other season.By this mean,system efficiency was prompt and wasting water from evaporative cooling tower was saved.A visual model is developed which could be used to referring to the physical property of lithium bromide solution.The mathematical model of absorption heat pump was built based on energy and mass conservation equations,including generator,condenser,evaporator,absorber and heat exchanger.Verification was performed referring to the introduction provided by Trane company.Consid ering the massive residual heat need to be recollected,a 300 MW heat pump is designed.The new model is a optimal model which considered the heat loss and condensing of vapor in the second generator.This paper did a research on the applications of heat p ump to power station.Three coupling were proposed.Which considered the characteristic of tower solar thermal power plant.The exhaust heat collected by heat pump from recycling water or latent heat of waste steam was used for supplying central-heating and heating feed water in other seasons.Simulation was did aiming to know the influences of driving steam,temperature of heating water,temperature of waste steam on the performance of absorption heat pump.One purpose of the simulation was to know the thermal performance of heat pump,on condition that the driving steam temperature of the net-work back water and waste steam.In reference of the climate of solar sufficient district,heating capacity,environment benefits and saved water quantity were calculated.The results of the paper would suggest an energy and water saving method for solar thermal power plants,the feasibility and economical efficiency schemes were proved.
