The compensation of reactive power plays a decisive role in the evaluation of power quality.At present,many problems of power quality in China's power grid are due to the serious reactive power imbalance,which has a great impact on China's electric power security and the healthy and reliable operation of power grid.In order to solve the problem of reactive power imbalance,a large number of reactive power compensation devices are introduced into the power grid.In recent years,the technology innovation of high power electronic devices has a great effect on the dynamic reactive power compensation technology.A reactive power compensation device is a mechanical switch to achieve,and the development of a new generation of dynamic reactive power compensation device in high power electronic switch for switching according to the operation condition of the power system,SVG equipment is the use of high power electronic switch series parallel realize linear reactive load switching.In parallel with the power grid SVG equipment,the equivalent of a state with the power grid reactive power supply operation mode change,the reactive current can be changed with the variation of load and reactive power to the power system automatic compensation operation very quickly in the is on a dynamic compensation method of power in power system,reactive power of the power grid to realize dynamic reactive power compensation.Dynamic reactive power compensator is an advanced technology in the field of reactive power compensation equipment,and the compensation of reactive power plays a decisive role in the evaluation of power quality.Based on the 220 k V Shijing substation,this paper studies the dynamic reactive power compensation equipment in place of the conventional shunt capacitor,which solves the problems of frequent switching,large investment,and impact of reactive power equipment.The simulation results demonstrate that the SVG device can dynamically track the reactive power change,automatic adjustment of reactive power compensation system can effectively and absorb reactive power,increase the power factor of the system,improve the level of the 220 k V bus voltage,stable voltage,reduce the loss rate.High voltage SVG has a very broad application prospect in the field of instantaneous reactive power change of power station and so on.
