In recent years,with the global energy security and environmental protection issues become increasingly prominent,with the coming mature of the wind energy technology,wind energy has become one of the most development prospect renewable energy.Whether the wind farm could connect power grid smoothly,the reactive power and power quality is the key point.Reactive power compensation device plays a huge role,not only in power grid security,stability,but also in improving power quality and economic efficiency.First of all,according to the background of the Luosike wind farm and the problems existing in the Duyun grid,this thesis demonstrated the significance of the wind farm and the reactive power compensation.Secondly,the main results of this paper included the following:(1)According to the situation of Luosike wind farm and the Duyun power grid,this thesis briefly described the design of electrical system,which provides the basis for the design of reactive power compensation.And detailed the reactive power characteristics,the low voltage ride through faults and the influence of wind farm on voltage characteristic of power network.The necessity of setting the reactive power compensation device in the wind farm is demonstrated.(2)Through analyzing the working principle,system structure,control method of the different compensation devices,comparative researched the advantage and disadvantage of them.And determine to consider static var generator(SVG)as the reactive compensation mode in Luosike wind farm.(3)According to the situation of the power grid where the wind farm is located,and the main equipment selection of the wind farm,completed the power flow calculation and the capacity calculation.The final reactive power compensation scheme is determined.By calculating economic equivalent of reactive power compensation's economic benefits,proved that the reactive power compensation device can significantly improve the economic benefits of power grid.(4)Combining the actual operation situation of Luosike wind farm,verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
