Demand response(DR),aimingto improve the efficiency of electricity utilization under electricity market,is an important technical measure to optimize the resource allocation and reduce the environmental pollution.With the promotion of the electricity market revolution in China and the increasing pressure of resource and environment protection.Based on the construction of National Demand Side Management(DSM)pilot city in Foshan,this thesisresearchesthe key technology of DR and its application on the platform design,which contributed to find the DR technical route adapted to Chinese and the local circumstance.Contents of this thesis covered the DR incentive mechanism,the key technology of DR from the perspectives of industrial end users,and the DR platform development based on the research founding.First of all,this paper analyzed the load characteristics of the whole city of Foshan and major industries based on the methods of statistics and clustering algorithm,and proposed the method to evaluate the load transfer potential during peak hours.Secondly,the paper put forward the comprehensive evaluation index of DR resource value,considering the influence on environmental,social and economic efficiency,and a multi-objective optimization model to select the DR participants was also designed in this paper.Thirdly,based on the comparison of general methods ofDR baseline calculation,a new method considering the DR process monitoring,was developed in this paper.To improve the accuracy of the baseline calculation,we used the day-matched method to calculate the baseline after the clustering of the load of the customers participated in DR.Finally,considering the service requirementsof DR in Foshan,the framework of DR platform was proposed in this paper,which included the detailed functioning design of business and application architecture.Based on the research above,the DR application platform has been developed in Foshan,and several DR testes has been carried out in recent years.Test results indicated the practicability of the decision-making and business processes of the DR platform.The DR load control wasimplemented as planned,and the information interaction between the DR participantswaseffective.It further verified the results of Foshan DRoperation mode design and the feasibility of the technical route.
