For the serious problem of abandoning wind in the process of large-scale wind power integration,the article comes up with that using energy storage system improves the ability to be delivered to the outside,then reducing the loss by abandoning wind.And bring in LCC to minimize the loss.Based on referring to a large number of researches about LCC and LCC applications in other industries,the article summarizes LCC,introducing LCC evaluation & analysis and method for estimating,and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of three typical evaluation methods.The article improves the method of typical cost analysis on power transmission line,getting a new method of LCC analysis,building a more complete three-dimensional structure model,and establishing an impeccable LCC evaluation index.With increasing wind power generation,the extent of concerns of wind curtailed loss due to insufficient transmission capacity becomes greater.This paper reports an optimization method for increasing clustered wind generation transmission using energy storage.In order to maximise the overall benefits,a number of factors have been considered including transmission benefits,transmission costs,energy storage costs,as well as curtailed wind congestion.An example is taken from an actual wind farm to show that the proposed method could achieve optimal transmission benefits.An analysis has also been performed on effect of energy storage costs on the system configuration.
