With the rapid development of national high-speed railway,especially without a frantic jumble track technology application,railway roadbed in guarantee strength satisfy the standard requirement at the same time,therefor,how to control and reduce the roadbed post-construction settlement high speed railway roadbed design as one of the key problems.There is aobut 7 point that the post-constrcution settlement has surpassed allowable settlement of the high railway,Lanzhou to Urumq,Xinjiang section,its seriously influced the safety running of the railway,thus mudstone absorbed water inflation effects controlling become the most impotant project to ensure safe operation of High railway.The study as the DK1236+054~DK1236+352 section as the basis,based on the analysis of the field observation of post-construction cutting settlement data,to put forword that the disease reason for roadbed foundation becoming arch,and to design the controlling measures due to mudstone inflation of cutting,after the measures implementation,it has greatly function of subgrade settlement,the main research results are as follows:(1)When DK1236+054~DK1236+352 cutting excavated,lead to the segment hydrogeological conditions has been changed,cutting excavation might changed the flow direction of the groundwater,makes the mudstone absorbed water and becoming expanded,and caused the arch of the cutting.(2)Arch area of the subgrade,the top surface of the left line of elevation changes characteristics is that from DK1236+054 gradually rise to DK1236+148,which is the highest point,and then declining to DK1236+225 back to the design elevation;on the right line,top of the right line elevation changes from DK1236+119 gradually rise to the highest point,DK1236+148,and then gradually decline to DK1236+228 back to the design elevation.Among of them,bedplate biggest rising amount is 56.4 mm,shoulder seal biggest rising amount is 54.8 mm,lateral sulcus lateral platform biggest rising amount is 39.1 mm,respectively.(3)According the cutting subgrade arching reason and the properties of the arch area,the most effective measures planning proposed to control the cutting diseases.To add drainage project and low groundwater level facilities,the measures as follows: drain pit,the seepage drainage,well used for lowing groundwater level,etc.(4)The results of the field observation date of the cutting settlement after the controlling measures has implemented show that the mudstone absorption water inflation has been largely under controlled,the cutting disease controlling plan was properly and effectively.
