Research On The Development And Protection Of Historical And Cultural Street Basing On The Culture Images

Historic conservation district,the material and cultural heritage with a profound cultural background,is a special product of human development in the special historical period.It is not only a material carrier of urban history and culture,but also an important place for urban production,and residents' daily life and activities.Besides,it is a component of urban functions.All of the above determines that the protection and development of historic blocks are a complex systematic project.The culture of a city is the root of its life and the foundation of urban development.But actually,historic conservation district is the carrier of urban culture and memory,and is the witness of city history.It is the cultural characteristics that are the most important features of historic conservation district,because once the district culture is formed,the emergence,development and disappearance of all the things in the district are closely related to the culture itself.As time goes on,a number of elements,symbols,features that are connected with the culture have been deposited,forming the differences in architectural style,social network structure,lifestyle and so on.At last,the stored elements are imbued with a distinctive image representation and identification,which can be referred to as the “cultural image”.The Furong street is a stored district in the ancient city,Jinan.Its strong historical and cultural atmosphere and ancient cultural relics are the embodiment of the historical and cultural value of Jinan.Furong Street embraces the cultural activities and beliefs of the old Jinan.For a long time,the street is regarded as a symbolic element of the tourism economy in Jinan,which attracts much attention of society.However,the conservation of Furong street exerts a great influence on the development of the street,the characteristics of Jinan city culture,the name spring support,and so on.In the light of the collection and investigation of Furong street in Jinan,it finds that the protection of original traditional texture of the street and historic buildings of various types are relatively complete,which can truly and completely reflect the historical traditions,features and local features of Jinan.In addition,the street has a profound cultural accumulation,and has the extremely high value of scientific research in history and humanity.What's more,a large number of blocks with the combination of Chinese and Western features in the late Qing Dynasty,which reflect the development and change of the district.But in recent years,the increase of commercial development simplifies the function of the street,leading to a snack street which replaces the traditional culture of Furong street.In fact,as a historic street with typical features of Jinan,the historical and cultural value of Furong street is the most precious treasure to be excavated and highlighted.The primary problem of the street now is how to awaken the soul of the historical conservation district which is famous for its spring water on the premise of the modernization of the city and the protection of the inherent cultural system of the historical blocks.The means should base on the reasonable development principle of protecting the historical carrier and environment.With the help of scientific means,the society can handle the relationship between the historical culture of the block and the urban context in line with the cultural connotation of the district.That is,to highlight the cultural atmosphere,the characteristics of the city,the business atmosphere,and the historical and cultural connotations of the district,has become a key point of Jinan and even the whole province's commercial and cultural streets.To sum up,this paper explores the means to combine the protection and development of urban historical and cultural blocks in China based on the cultural image theory.According to the theory of urban spatial cultural image,this paper analyzes the cultural image of Furong street in Jinan and puts forward the target and principle of cultural imagery protection of the street.Furthermore,it probes into the development strategy of Furong street based on cultural image,so that the historic street can win the balanced development which is multi-angle,multi-level and multi-dimensional.This thesis consists of five parts.The first part(chapter 1,2)involves the introduction and basic research.The introduction part mainly expounds on the research background,purpose,significance,contents and methods of basic research;while the basic research summarizes cultural imagery theory and elaborates on the city space cultural characteristics of cultural image.The second part(chapter 3)takes the development of Furong street in Jinan as an example to study the process of the cultural image evolution and cultural image morphological features of Furong street in Jinan,and to point out the existing problems in its protection and development based on the related historical literature review of the street and the theory system of urban spatial cultural image.The third part(chapter 4)suggests the main objectives and basic principles of the protection of Furong Street through the investigation and analysis of Furong street in Jinan,which is in accordance with the cultural image theory.The fourth part(chapter 5)is the crucial part of this paper.By utilizing the theory of cultural imagery,and combining with the actual condition of Furong street in Jinan,the part elaborates the concrete strategy of the protection from the three aspects:image space,image state,image behavior.Finally,the fifth part(chapter 6)is the conclusion of this paper.
