Nowadays in the field of diesel engine, High-pressure Common Rail Fuel Injection System has been one of the most important ways to meet the increasing strict emission regulation. It also is an essential research direction to promote the economy of diesel engine. However, due to the late start of domestic and relatively weak foundation, there is not mature product on the market in the country.So it makes great contributions to the development of common rail fuel injection system via designing of electronic control unit for High-pressure Common Rail Fuel Injection System and carrying out experiments on diesel engine.In this paper, the function of hardware and the control strategy of software are confirmed through further research in the main parts and control methods of High-pressure Rail Fuel Injection System.Then, based on the specific fuel injection system, the project is designed to meet the needs of sensor signal collection and actuator control. The microprocessor MC9S12XEP100 is selected as the main control chip, and other hardwares, such as power module, the minimum system for MCU,signal processing circuits, solenoid valve driving circuit and fuel pump driving circuit are designed to meet the need of Peripheral interface devices.At last, the electronic control unit is tested on the diesel engine bench. The experiment results show that the hardware system can meet the needs of target fuel injection system in the signal collection and actuator driving. In addition, the software enables to control the high rail pressure and injection process accurately.
