Comprehensive Evaluation Of Rural Landscape In Hetuala Village Of Liaoning Province

Under dual influences from urbanization and rural tourism development,Hetuala village landscape is confronted by the threat from fading ethnic and rural features.How to find the balance point in rural landscape protection and development is an important problem to be solved during Hetuala village landscape development.Village landscape comprehensive assessment study helps instruct the development direction of landscape and puts forward the suggestions for optimization. Taking Hetuala village in Liaoning Province as the research subject, this thesis employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process to constitute the Hetuala village landscape assessment system, and retrieve landscape indicator weight. Simultaneously, this thesis further combines the quantitative method with qualitative method to know about present indicator assessment conditions and utilizes comprehensive assessment method to evaluate Hetuala village landscape. After elaborate analysis, this thesis derives the following conclusions.1. As for indicator weight analysis of Hetuala village landscape, in the criterion layer, human value layer >ecological layer>functional layer>aesthetic layer. The weighted value of human value layer is 0.4210, where in human value layer is the focus in Hetuala village landscape construction. In the indicator layer, folk custom expression and other six indicators are more important in Hetuala village landscape.2. As for the analysis of indicator present condition in the criterion layer,among 18 indicators, 13 indicators correspond to satisfaction grade, and 5 indicators correspond to the dissatisfaction grade. Landscape users have more satisfaction indicators in present Hetuala village landscape conditions.3. On the whole, the overall Hetuala village landscape assessment score is 3.21.It corresponds to the general grade and simply meets the basic needs of landscape users. The low grade is ascribed to the reason that scores in aesthetic layer and human value layers remain in the dissatisfaction range.The score of ecological layer is 4.23. Since existing ecological environment is relatively favorable, it is better to maintain existing advantages. The aesthetic layer has the assessment score as 2.92 and corresponds to the dissatisfaction grade. The reason is that landscape aesthetic construction lacks compatibility and rural features.The score of human value layer is 2.63. Since specific landscape presentation still fails to reflect the unique historical and folk cultural connotations in Hetuala village,more efforts should be made to enhance humanistic landscape construction. The score of functional layer is 3.27. This implies that existing functional landscape in Hetuala village could meet the daily demands of landscape users.This thesis raises suggestions for future optimization of Hetuala village landscape, including constructing regional landscape through combining static presentation with dynamic experience means, creating landscape farmland and natural ecological environment landscape, optimizing architecture landscape and building rural settlements full of ethnic characteristics, rationally organizing road system and designing road landscape and improving infrastructure.
