The reliability of the hub bearing seal is an important factor decided the life of hub bearing.The test equipment of hub bearing unit seal simulates actual running state of vehicle in order to test seal ring sealing performance.The geometry precision of test equipment operation is a key factor in the normal operation of the machine,which affects the correctness of the test results.In order to simulate the vehicle operation situation,the requirements of mud seal test environment need to conform.Mud accuracy ratio is one of the most key test environment requirements which directly affect the effectiveness of test results.This paper carries out the following research work: Through the analysis of the thermal deformation of the headstock system and its influence on test process,the structure design technology of the headstock system was studied;By analyzing the mixing influences of mud particle distribution,the structure design technology of the mud mixing device was studied.Specific work content includes the following several aspects:(1)Introduced basic theory and analysis method of heat transfer test equipment,test equipment temperature field and thermal deformation finite element analysis technique.(2)The thermal deformation of test equipment headstock system as the key factors effected test equipment running geometric accuracy.By calculating headstock system's thermal boundary conditions,the simulation was completed by Ansys.And the simulation results of temperature field were proved by experiments.The thermal deformation simulation provided theoretical basis for the structural design.(3)According to the CFD finite element method and model of two phase flow,combined with characteristics of mud particles and,the simulation calculation methods and models of mud mixing system were studied.(4)The numerical simulation of mud mixing process was realized by using Fluent software based on Eulerian model and Euler-Euler method.The concentration distribution and uniformity of mixing device are studied,by simulating the contours of mud particles distribution.(5)The basic requirement of the mud mixing device functional design was put forward.The mud particles completely suspension off bottom was studied.Finally,the structure design of mud mixing device was studied by using orthogonal test method.Overall,it can provide supports of developing hub bearing seal test equipment by using the achievements of the structure design technology of the headstock system and the mud mixing device.
