| As a key part of automobile,hub bearing plays an important role in automobile safety.The failure of the sealing ring of the hub bearing will cause external dust,slurry water and particles and other external matter to enter the bearing.It will pollute and corrode the internal raceway and rolling body,making the hub bearing failure,so the sealing performance of the sealing ring is very important for the hub bearing.As the most critical test environment medium in the single seal test of hub bearing,slurry has strict ratio requirements,and the correctness and accuracy of slurry concentration directly affect the effectiveness of the single seal test results of hub bearing.In this paper,the monomer seal test of hub bearing with semi-immersion intervention is taken as the research object.The slurry concentration in the test is simulated by numerical simulation method,and the influence of slurry input parameters on slurry concentration is studied by orthogonal test design method.The main work contents are as follows:(1)The particle size distribution of solid particles in slurry was introduced,which was proposed to analyze the slurry concentration by the weighted average particle size.Aiming at the problem of describing the total concentration in the local area of the slurry,a method of describing the total concentration with the combination of mean slurry volume fraction and standard deviation of slurry volume fraction was proposed,and the calculation method of mean slurry volume fraction and standard deviation of slurry volume fraction in the finite element method was given.The slurry input parameters involved in the monomer seal test of wheel bearing with semi-immersion intervention mode were given,and the influence of the slurry input parameters on the slurry concentration was discussed.(2)The simulation model of slurry concentration was established,and the static settlement of slurry suspension was simulated and tested.The numerical simulation of slurry concentration by using euler multiphase flow model and standard k-ε model was verified.(3)A finite element model was established for the calculation of slurry concentration in a slurry pit by using euler multiphase flow model and standard k-ε model.The mean slurry volume fraction and the standard deviation of slurry volume fraction in the area around the submerged portion of seal ring were calculated.(4)The orthogonal test scheme of single seal test of hub bearing was designed,and the influence of slurry input parameters on the slurry concentration in the area around the submerged part of seal ring was studied through the numerical simulation results of each test scheme.On this basis,the design of slurry input parameters was realized,and through the numerical simulation of slurry concentration,the application effect was good.The research results of this paper on the slurry input parameters of the monomer seal test of the hub bearing in the semi-immersion intervention mode can be applied to guide the slurry system design of the monomer seal test of the hub bearing in the semi-immersion mode,so as to ensure the effectiveness of the monomer seal test results of the hub bearing. |
