Screw pile is a kind of "the upper part of the cylindrical type,the lower part of the screw type" of the composite pile,it is a very practical value of the new pile.The cross section of the screw post is a variable cross-section,which enhances the lateral resistance of the pile and the soil.Therefore,the ultimate bearing capacity under the same conditions is improved compared with other piles.Compared with the prefabricated piles,the cast-in-place screw pile has low construction noise and no vibration,and it has no influence on the construction.Screw piles have a reliable quality,wide range of applications and high carrying capacity advantages.In the road or bridge,the workers and other construction areas have its use.In short,the screw pile is a high performance,low cost,short cycle of the new pile,screw pile and its construction in terms of engineering practicality,economy or environmental protection,having obvious advantages and broadening prospects for development.However,the relevant theoretical calculation of screw pile has lagged behind engineering practices,which has seriously restricted its application and development in practical engineering and theory.In this paper,the theoretical calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity of the screw pile under the vertical load is introduced,and the finite element method is used to verify the ultimate bearing capacity of the screw pile of the power transmission engineering.And the results of the calculation under the contact calculation are discussed,and satisfactory results are obtained.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)The development status of the screw pile at home and abroad and the theoretical calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity of the screw pile are introduced.(2)Using the finite element software ANSYS to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of the screw pile under different geological conditions,the calculation results are closer to the real situation.(3)The contact of the screw pile under different geological conditions is carried out,so that the result is closer to the real situation,which provides some reference for calculating the pile-soil contact.
