Laser wavelength meter is the device to measure the laser wavelength with major indexes such as stability,accuracy and measurement range.This thesis is based on the research and design of the double wire diffraction based laser wavelength meter,cooperated with a optical device company,and under the guidance the common measurement methods of laser wavelength,the basis of stability and accuracy,and the demand of market and economic applicability.Our efforts have come up a stage result based on the theoretical analysis and experiment,together with data analysis and process,our new meter is able to identify and measure the laser wavelength of the C/L wave tunable laser device.The content of the thesis contains the portion of our responsibility including the initial experiment confirmation,the design of software and hardware system,the data collection,analysis and process,and the afterward system integration.The research content,the work has been done and the results of the thesis are listed below:1.Research paper references collection,survey of the current laser wavelength measurement methods,the parameters and measurement indexes for commercial laser wavelength measurers,and the confirmation of the feasibility of the double wire diffraction based laser wavelength meter,it also provides the fully system design.2.We established the feasible optical measurement platform based on the system design requirement,and have completed the research and design for 8-channel optical power measurement circuit,and the complement software design and implementation.We adapted the stepping motor and rolling ball lead screw close-up platform to complete the automatic control system based on the requirement of the system data collection.We designed the computer upper bit control close-up platform,the software for data collection and processing;and based on the requirement of system integration,we designed the measurement system which consists of optical measurement module,the automatic close-up platform,tunable laser measurements and comparing device,via the serial communication port.3.After the analyzed of the characteristic of the data collected,we have studied and implemented the neural-network-based algorithm for laser measurement data processing and application.It has been confirmed that the algorithm has reached high identifying accuracy and speed to satisfy the current stage index measurements.4.The achievement of the current research and design of the system will help for the further theoretical study and practical enhancement on this topic,and also provide a solid fundamental for further study,development of the sample system production.
