Study On The Treatment Of Soft Soil Foundation In The Highway Expansion Project Of Nanjing Airport

In the construction of highway,soft soil foundation is often encountered.However,the soft soil has the characteristics of low strength and large deformation,which needs to be deposed,so as to improve the foundation conditions and bearing capacity of foundation,thus ensuring the quality of highway engineering.Therefore,this dissertation takes the Expansion Project of Nanjing Airport Highway as an example,and studies the selection of soft soil foundation treatment,construction,cost and effect of treatment,etc.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the common treatment methods of soft soil foundation are summarized and the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed.Then,combination with the engineering practice,the theory and methods of soft soil foundation treatment are analyzed.The propriate methods of soft soil treatment in the expansion project of Nanjing Airport Highway are provided.Thirdly,the construction methods and quality control of three kinds of soft foundation treatment methods,including surcharge preloading,jet grouting pile and drainage plate in the expansion project of Nanjing Airport Highway,are studied in details.Fourthly,the applicable conditions,applicable range,construction methods,cost and processing effects,etc.,are compared of the three kinds of foundation treatment methods,i.e.,surcharge preloading,jet grouting pile and drainage board,used in the expansion project of Nanjing Airport Highway.Some relevant conclusions are drawnaccordingly.Finaly,the settlement observation of the expansion project of Nanjing Airport Highway is carried out and the data of settlement is analyzed.The rationality of soft ground treatment scheme of the expansion project of Nanjing Airport Highway is investigated.
