Road cold milling machine as a kind of asphalt road construction equipment widely used,milling machine pick as the execution component of milling machine.The failure problem of milling machine pick has become a key factor affecting the construction quality and progress of milling machine.On the basis of the previous research results,the author discussed the wear mechanism of the cutting pick,and improves the structure of the cutting pick to a certain extent.The ABAQUS software is used to the cutting pick abrasive wear process and the influence of single cutting pick parameters on the milling resistance were studied.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.Through the brief analysis of the cutting pick of the milling machine,it is found that the wear is the main failure form of it,and found the pick head milling cutter and participate in the presence of partial wear;analyzed the research status of the milling machine in related fields,and the existing problems in the research are discussed.2.This paper summarizes the failure mode of cutting pick of the milling machine.Through the establishing of single particle cutting pick abrasive wear model,the main factors that affect the cutting pick wear is the number of hard particle hardness,milling resistance and cutting tooth pick encountered;The three-dimensional numerical simulation of the abrasive wear process of the cutting pick,the wear mechanism of cutting pick is discussed.3.By analyzing the milling process of the cold milling machine on the road surface and combining with the milling model of the cutting pick,the mathematical formula of the trajectory of the cutting pick tip is deduced,and the force of the cutting pick is analyzed in detail.The milling method is used to calculate the milling resistance of the cutting pick,and the influence of the horizontal feed rate,the milling drum speed and the angle of the cutting pick angle on the milling resistance are obtained.4.The finite element model of the cutting face is established by ABAQUS software.The cutting pick tip angle and the angle of the tooth are simulated and simulated several times,and the influence of the cutting pick parameters on the milling resistance is obtained.5.The existing cutting pick are analyzed,and it is found that the failure speed of the cutting pick is faster due to the insufficient hardness of the pick heads.The feasibility of the segmented picks is discussed.On this basis,two kinds of segmented picks are designed.It is reasonable to obtain the two stage structure by comparison and analysis.Through the analysis of the connection between the existing cutting pick and the tool holder,it is learned that themilling waste is more likely to enter the tool holder and the cutting pick can not rotate normally in the tool holder,so that the cutting pick produces partial grinding;The design of a new method of the cutting pick and tooling assembly.
