One of the most economic modernization road maintenance methods is using the roadmilling machine to mill the damaged pavement layer, then laying a new layer on the milledroad, so road milling machine is one of the main devices of road maintenance machinery.With the increasing of highway construction in China, market demand for milling machineincreases, milling machine has become necessary road maintenance machinery. However, thedevelopment of domestic milling machine is later than foreign milling machine, and currentmilling machine is mainly designed by the reference and analogy to foreign milling machine,our own technical and test system is still deficient, especially the milling theory. It hasincreased the gap between domestic products and foreign product. In order to improve theworking performance of domestic milling machine and improve work property, doingresearch on milling system has important theoretical and practical significance.Taking some type one meter milling machine as the research object, do research onmilling system. The main research contents include: force analysis of single milling cutter;force analysis of milling drum; study on the influence of geometric parameters and operatingparameters on milling drum resistance torque by MATLAB software. throughthree-dimensional modeling of the milling cutter and the nonlinear finite element analysis ofANSYS,study the stress distribution in the process of milling operations and provides atheoretical basis for the milling force analysis and structure optimization.This project use AMESim hydraulic simulation software to establish hydraulic model ofmilling system, based on correct model, the simulation of milling load fluctuation isperformed, and draw the conclusion that the reasonable selection of accumulator caneffectively absorb the hydraulic pressure impact energy storage.Finally, aim at the milling drum load fluctuation and cutting energy consumption ratio, amulti-objective optimization mathematical model of milling drum is build. The loadfluctuation and the milling energy consumption of the milling drum is obviously reduced,effectively improve long service life of the milling cutter and the work performance.
