| Steel slag is a by-product in the process of steel making,and increasing with millions of tons a year,but our country of steel slag utilization is lower,the mountain of steel slag has become a great public hazard of environmental pollution.Our research shows that as an industrial waste slag,steel slag’s physical performance is similar to natural stone;it is a kind of fine road aggregate.but most used it as a filer,not reasonable use it.It is necessary to further study steel slag.This paper,we used steel slag as pavement base and asphalt mixture of aggregate used in roadbed,to research the Shear properties of roadbed.With the increase of capacity,pavement structure under the action of vehicle load repeated,there is a lot of pavement diseases,such as fatigue cracking,reflection cracking,low temperature cracking,etc.By the research,this is the road of the interlaminar shear strength is insufficient,therefore,it is necessary to take measures to change the interlaminar shear strength.In this paper,on the basis of previous scholars study,the steel slag instead of asphalt mixture in the rubble,through the indoor experiment study on the shear strength.According to Moore-cullen theorem,in order to got the shear strength,this paper use the direct test,according to the influence factors of shear strength between the layers,respectively from the vertical load,the adhesion between the layers of oil consumption,as well as the structure of types to got the interlayer shear strength.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)In this paper,using portable direct shear apparatus for the indoor direct shear test,with steel slag and gravel as aggregate study the shear strength of semi-rigid base asphalt surface.Before the test,the chemical and physical properties and chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel slag were studied,and then put forward the integration of steel slag roadbed.(2)According to the specification requirements,design of proportion of asphalt pavement,And to determine the proportion of of this article.(3)On the basis of previous theoretical and experimental studies,composition of the shear strength with its influencing factors were analyzed.To find a suitable for asphalt pavement structure of interlayer bonding condition theory and experimental model,analysis the shear strength.through the indoor test.(4)Analyze the test results,the conclusion:at first,the influence of vertical load on the interlayer shear force is bigger,shear strength increased with the increase of vertical load increasing,Can return to the vertical stress as a yuan a equation of the variable linear.By comparing the size of the cohesive force,found that the steel slag asphalt pavement structure type of maximum cohesive force no less than the traditional asphalt pavement of cohesive force,steel slag instead of gravel used in subgrade pavement has the superiority.The second,under the same vertical load,Shear strength with the adhesive layer,an increase in the amount of oil is a process of first increases and then.there is a best oil which can get the maximize of shear strength of the structure interlayer.The last,this paper chooses two kinds of material type,three types of grading.Under the same experimental conditions,the same materials,different grading,shear strength size change significantly.The same experiment conditions,different materials,the shear strength is more different,the traditional asphalt pavement shear strength between steel slag asphalt pavement,the shearing strength of the steel slag can reach the strength of the traditional roadbed. |
