With the development of high-speed train vehicle technology widely used,high-speed train basic braking methods all use disc brake,and in the case of electronic brake lose efficacy,it is the final guarantee of train braking.Therefore,it is essential to develop high-performance train brake discs to the development of the entire high-speed rail business.In view of the current brake disc castings shrinkage,shrinkage and riser filling and other issues,the CAE method is used to simulate the casting process of the brake disc in order to improve the casting quality of the brake disc,and provide basic theory of complement for the brake disc casting process.Aiming at the casting process of brake disc,the geometric model of brake disc is established,and the process preparation and process design of brake disc casting are studied.The casting process of the brake disc was simulated by casting simulation software Pro CAST.Finally,it obtains a reasonable casting program through the test.The specific work of this paper is as follows:(1)In the preparation of the casting process analysis of the type of sand,process equipment and paint preparation,the brake disc material composition analysis.The results show that the use of alkaline phenolic resin sand,PRH and PY in accordance with the ratio of 1: 1;According to the performance index of the brake disc,the influence of the material composition on the simulation process was obtained.The composition of the materials was as follows: C 0.22%,Si0.38%,Mn0.95%,Cr1.5%,Ni1.3%,where S,P ? 0.03%.(2)The design of the parting surface of the brake disc,the selection of the process parameters,the selection of the casting position,and the process design of the pouring system and the riser are studied..The results show that it is the most favorable for casting to select Partial surface on the brake disc.The results show that the use of six waist shape riser is the most favorable to fill up the brake discs for the calculation of the riser by means of modulus method,cubic equation method and perimetrischen quotient method.(3)The brake disc filling,solidification process to simulate,The results show that it is more reasonable to compare the pouring system with the top injection side of the pouring system in the brake disc.Using 1560 ? temperature pouring,metal liquid filling reasonable.The temperature field of the filling and solidification process is normal,and the flow field and solid phase fraction are reasonable.No shrinkage,loose and other defects appear.(4)Experiments on the casting process is did in order to further verify the accuracyof the simulation results.The results show that the surface quality of the castings is improved,and the defects such as cracks and shrinkage are detected,and the internal quality is good.The experimental results and simulation results are basically the same,the improvement of the brake disc process is effective.The results of this study can provide reference and supplement for the casting process of the brake disc.
