Abstract/Summary:
Tire that provides taction and support load is an important part of the car,and is a typical rubber product.Tire consumes the most rubber in rubber products.With the rapid development of road transport industry,tire is most important products and consumption of tire is increasing annually.In recent years,China has gradually become a global production base and consumption base of tire and it would lead to a large amount of energy consumption and environment pollution in this process.Therefore,it is essential to research the process of tire wear in order to improve energy efficiency,protect environment and and conserve energy.Howerer,the research method of tire wear is mainly based on online test equipment.In order to solve tire wear test equipment’s problems of complex structure,high cost and complicated operation,a tire wear monitoring system for real-time detection,which is based on abradeable shunt resistance network,is developed.This paper developed a tire wear real-time inspection system based on abradeable shunt resistance network and this system uses shunt resistance network to convert the physical quantity of tire wear into the analog voltage,and this analog voltage is changed into digital quantity which is convenient for MCU process by analog-to-digital converter.MCU collects data by wireless transceiver,and data are processed,calculated and displayed on LCD screen.Finally,MCU send data to host computer by serial communication interface for analysis and presentation,thus,the judgement and real-time detection of tire wear level and early warning can be achieved.Through the tire wear experiment,the result validated that feasibility and stability of system.It can be concluded that tire wear real-time inspectionsystem meets design requirements,and tire wear is linearly related to the reciprocal of total resistance value.This method is convenient to confirm tire wear and the level of tire wear.The system simplifies tire wear testing step and reduces test cost,which has great value on both practical application and market.
