Firstly originated in the United States,Linkl6 tactical data link uses J sequence message as exchange medium to transmit real-time tactical data among military units.Linkl6 tactical data link has the characteristics of high speed,large capacity,strong anti-interference ability,safety and security,Time Division Multiple Access network structure.It's the main communication way of land,sea and air forces in the United States.Because of the particularity and the security of Link16,there is no public standard for how to realize the Link 16 tactical data link system.Through the study of Link 16 protocol,this thesis focuses on the research of Link16 messages(including the initialization messages,the configuration messages,J sequence messages like surveillance messages and electronic warfare messages),and the transmission mechanism of these messages.In this thesis,Link 16 platform includes two parts,the host and the terminal.For the host part,the design scheme of the host protocol module in Link 16 platform is presented,which realizes the function of man-machine interaction,message encoding and decoding,initialization and configuration of the terminal,and message scheduling.Finally,through the design of test cases,the sub modules and the function of host protocol module have been verified.Based on the research of this thesis,the Link 16 platform can be extended to a real operational systelm,or it can be used as a simulation system.Therefore,the research and implementation of Link 16 platform host protocol module has some reference value and practical significance for the future development of Link 16 tactical data link.
