With the development of society,the AC motors almost cover all aspects of our work and life. Compared with the AC asynchronous motor, the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has many advantages, such as small size, reliable operation,low loss and simple structure. The permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) applications are increasingly being used. With the development of the permanent magnetic materials, the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM)performance continues to be improved. The higher requirement is wanted on the performance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speed control system. How to get better dynamic, static and robust performance in the speed control system becomes a hot topic.The PI parameters are single and not adjusted online in the PI controller of speed loop based on the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speed control system, which causes the overshoot too large while the permanent magnet synchronous motor starts, the response speed of the system is slow and the anti-interference ability is poor while the external interference occurs. Therefore, the control strategy of the speed loop is analyzed in detail. After a large number of literatures,the fuzzy subset generated by the fuzzy control algorithm can be used to change the parameters on the basis of the selected parameters, so as to realize the parameters to be variable. Therefore, the fuzzy control and PI control are used to optimize the fuzzy PI control strategy, the fuzzy control rule is designed to solve the problem of single PI parameter and realize adjusting parameters online. The system responds and restores stable quickly bacause of the variable parameters online while the external interference occurs, the static, dynamic performance and robust performance of the system are improved .According to the above theoretical analysis, the mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speed control system is established.The experimental verification is carried out,the experimental results show that the asymmetric fuzzy PI control has better stability than PI control.
