Nowadays,the weapon and equipment of our country are developing quickly and many advanced weapons were researched,developed and equipped force quickly,which greatly improved the effectiveness of our army.In 2016,the sixth Plenum of the 18 th CPC Central Committee stated a new idea of integrated military and civilian development.Based on this,we can foresee a new incoming wave of the development of the weapon and equipment in our country.However,whatever the future developments of weapons will be,artillery is still an important combat weapon.Because of its easy for manufacture,simple operation,strong power,high reliability,strong destruction,easy maintenance and low price,it has been widely applied to all kinds of weapons and equipment system,including fighter aircraft,ships,tanks,self-propelled guns,towed artillery,anti-aircraft guns,mortars and so on.With the development of science and technology,the degree of the artillery intelligence is also in constant progress.No matter how the artillery develops,its operational effectiveness was always calculated through the hitting rage and lethality.Therefore,how to shot accurately becomes the forever topic for artillery research.Today,in all kinds of factors of solving the artillery-hitting problem,the remaining shortage is the measurement and calculation of the initial velocity.In this thesis,based on the theory of laser triangulation,we design the measuring instrument and its displacement and the rotating device,select 24 artillery tube from an artillery battalion as a sample,and design an experiment of measuring the chamber growth with the laser triangulation.After that,through collecting and analyzing the relevant data and comparing with the traditional measurement method,we finally find that the measuring method selected in this paper is significantly superior to the traditional measuring method.To verify the accuracy and practicability of the measured data in the experiment,this paper uses external ballistics theory to retroactive the velocity and design experiment plan and implements it.After obtaining and processing the relevant data,comparing with the classic wear regularity of body tube and analyzing the selected sample based on the research of the predecessors,we find that the research result about the measurement and calculation of the initial velocity of artillery is much confusing.The first main factor is the unclear concept of artillery initial velocity.For example,a lot of research in regards to the muzzle velocity,the actual theory of the muzzle velocity,the muzzlevelocity and the actual velocity was treated as the study on the initial velocity.This paper further distinguishes and defines these concepts.The second is the confusion of the research purposes.The study data of the interior ballistics about the gunpowder combustion and the movement of projectile in tube play an important role for the calculation of the initial velocity.However,what is more important is the artillery design and study of the new ammunition and equipment.For the velocity measurement in the actual combat,it obviously appears too complicated.This thesis deduces and researches the related content.This thesis is committed to looking for a quick and accurate measuring method for the artillery velocity.It's a fact that the research on this aspect has many different views,but it's not common in the field that this thesis of research ranges across three disciplines,based on the theory of laser triangulation and combining the interior ballistics and external ballistics,so this thesis will be able to open up a new path for the later research.
