With the application of semi rigid base asphalt pavement becomes more widely,the exposed shortcomings are more obvious.But as a representative of the semi-rigid base,the research on cement stabilized macadam base in China is still quite popular.A lot of researches have been carried out especially on the nature of the crack of cement stabilized macadam base.These studies were mainly focused on the following several aspects to consider how to improve its anti-crack performance,including the strictly quality control of raw materials,the gradation of mixture,the control of the cement dosage,the control index of mixture design,the production processes and the construction technology,enhancement of quality control during construction process,enhancement of the quality inspection and evaluation method.However,the research on mixing process of cement stabilized macadam mixture has long been neglected.At first,according to the mixing process of cement stabilized macadam mixture,this writer presented a new type of mixing method.The vibration technology was applied to the mixing process of the mixture,to study the interaction mechanism of vibration mixing and mixture.It was expected to improve the anti-crack performance by vibrating mixing.The indoor experiment by using vibration method was carried out on two different grades(strong embedded extrusion skeleton dense type,the grade recommended by the national criterion)with different cement dosage and different curing age to compare the different results about strength and shrinkage properties.At the same time,the results were compared with the performance indexes of the mixture produced by the traditional mixing method.The comparing showed that the vibration mixing technology is superior to the traditional mixing method.When it comes to the strong embedded extrusion skeleton dense type mixture,the researcher compared the vibration method and the non-vibration method,the results shows that the unconfined compressive strength is increased 17% and the splitting strength is increased 21% through the vibration method.And the drying shrinkage coefficientis reduced 18%,the temperature shrinkage coefficient is reduced 15%.Via the ways to check the field core,deflection and crack line and others by relying on the physical engineering test section,the researchers finally confirmed with the relevant conclusions which was come from the indoor experiment.The control points of the construction technology by using vibration mixing anti cracking cement stabilized macadam base were put forward.Through a series of laboratory tests and the test results of physical engineering test section,the way of vibration stirring technology applied in cement stabilized macadam base construction which compared with the traditional mixing method can improve the mixture's strength and reduce shrinkage performance significantly.Despite of the above mentioned advantages,the vibration method also can greatly reduce the amount of cement and bring the broad application prospects together with good economic and social profits in the premise of the relevant construction design indicators.
