Research on Real-time Dynamic Infrared Simulation for surface ship and its wake is an important way to study the infrared confrontation with the ocean target and the ocean background.Based on the physical principles and advanced computer technology,this paper solves the problem of large-scale ocean scene and the difficulty of surface ship wake infrared simulation.On the one hand,from the radiation emissivity model of the sea surface itself to the model of solar radiation reflection by the sea surface and environmental radiation reflection,this study takes into account the influence of the atmospheric effect of the sea,and sets up a complete marine infrared radiation model and studies the infrared characteristics of the above parts.On the other hand,this paper studies the common sea surface modeling methods and the sea spectrum model,and the fast Fourier transform(FFT)method is used to calculate the sea surface height field,and then the height field is transformed into dynamic mesh.Finally,the simulation of large-scale marine infrared scene is realized by multi-detail level(LOD)technology.Based on the modeling of marine infrared scene,the core content of this paper is the real-time dynamic infrared simulation of surface ship and its wake.Then,the infrared thermal wakes are extracted by studying the thermal structure of the ocean,and the real-time infrared simulation of the special infrared wakes is realized.Finally,we study and implement the modeling and simulation of the typical Kelvin trail of sea ships.The author combines the above-mentioned GPU-based OGRE 3D graphics rendering engine with the MFC interactive application framework under the Windows platform,and developed the real-time dynamic infrared simulation platform of surface ship and its wake.The simulation results are analyzed and compared at the end of this paper,which proves the accuracy of the platform and shows the realism of the platform.
