Reservoirs can obviously raise original water level of the river,then recharge ground-water,the submerged part of soil moisture content tends to saturation,soil softening,lower bearing capacity.For storage of submerged area,the influence law of foundation bearing capacity,this paper,which is based on Tugutang reservoir,using field investigation and theoretical analysis,indoor and outdoor test,numerical simulation methods,in the reservoirs of submerged area,the research of the effect on the stability of the buildings and road safety,the main research work and conclusions are as follows:1.Based on the engineering geological condition,geological exploration report first to immerse to caused by water immersion zone soil softening effect is analyzed,combining with field investigation,and then preliminarily discussing the reservoirs' impact to the submerged area,the focus of the next step of work.2.Through the plate bearing test in the Xinhua village have the differences of bearing capacity before and after immersion,and do the standard penetration test at all the other submerged area,through the test results of plate bearing test to estimate the other submerged area bearing capacity after immersion.3.Through direct shear test and measurement of large compression test we get the soil shear strength and compression modulus with the increase of moisture content of the attenuation law,and through the compression modulus and deformation modulus,we get the value of typical soil Simeom Denis Poisson.4.Based on indoor and outdoor test,building the ABAQUS finite element calculation model of the house and the road around the reservoir,analyzed that the deformation of foundation bearing capacity of different conditions,and the influence of the road deformation and fatigue life of pavement while subgrade modulus of resilience is changed.and based on the test data with the result of model calculation is verified.5.Based on the requirement of specification,house are local slope safety evaluation index,the modulus of resilience for road safety evaluation index,combined with examples to analyze the results of numerical simulation,results show that buildings near the Xinhuavillage should be safe,but in the red sandstone gravel soil sections suggest to fill more than one meter thickness of fine soil.
