Due to the adverse effects of fog and haze on the environment, people had pay a lot of attention on development and utilization of clean energy sources. wind power, with its unique advantages for showing a booming trend. With the growing scale wind power generation, large-scale wind power generation on the stability of the utility grid impact. Therefore, low-voltage national electricity through wind power sector(Low Voltage Ride Through, LVRT) put forward higher Claim. Another world wind power system connected to the grid to develop the appropriate standards, including wind power low voltage ride through capability is an important one, that is, when the grid voltage drops within a certain range, the wind turbine can remain connected to the grid to grid active and reactive power output.Based on domestic H90-2.0MW type wind turbine, have a research on wind turbine double-fed low voltage ride through. What's more, research on the grid failure the wind turbine rotor side PWM converter and the grid side control strategy is the study of wind turbines LVRT important part. Firstly, the working principle and operating characteristics of double-fed wind turbine, the establishment of double-fed wind turbines at the three-phase static coordinate and mathematical models in rotating coordinates. Secondly, on this basis, the rotor side PWM converter using double-loop control strategy based on stator voltage vector orientation, the main function of grid side converter is to maintain the DC bus voltage stability, control input current, and power factor, effectively improve low voltage ride through capability of the method of a class is to increase the hardware protection device, and the other is totally dependent on improved method for inverter control strategy, we use the second type of grid side PWM converter control strategies to improveFinally, the use of Matlab/Simulink software to build a low-voltage double-fed wind turbine model. Through research on dynamic changes of power grid single-phase and two-phase to ground short circuit the wind turbine grid voltage drop on the above proposed control strategy for verification. H93-2.0MW of domestic wind turbine test site, the test results were analyzed.
