Research And Applacation Of Wind Turbine LVRT Testing System

In recent years, large-scale wind power grid operation brings to the electric power system safe and stable operation of the influence of cannot be ignored, without interconnection test of wind turbines parallel operation seriously affect the electric safety, in order to ensure sustained and healthy development of wind power and power grid safe and stable operation, an urgent need to develop wind power grid test key technology research.Wind turbines have LVRT capacity has become the existing grid mandatory interconnection requirements for wind power or wind turbines. This paper mainly introduces a kind of portable wind turbines low voltage across the development situation of the testing system, the test system can satisfy the requirement of the wind turbine low voltage through the test, has been put into use, and have completed most of the domestic low voltage crossing ability testing tasks.Combining the other wind power in developed countries and China’s demand for wind turbines low voltage across ability, this paper analyzes the different structure of low voltage through the principle of the testing system, in the end, with stable performance, high degree of fault simulation grid impedance differential pressure type design principle. Test system developed in this paper from the reactor combination, combination switch cabinets, monitoring system and safety protection system are analyzed in detailed design. After the completion of the test system is developed, through the field tests verify the rationality of the design of the whole test system. In the application of test system, this paper also puts forward the wind turbines low voltage through the ability to test method, test point, test process and analysis method of test data.Test results show that the LVRT equipment of wind turbines has achieved expected effect of the design of the test system, to improve the performance of wind turbines of large-scale wind power grid provides the security.
