Exploring The Indoor Space Layout Of Unit-type Residential Buildings Basedon Regional National Customs

Emin County in Xinjiang Province is the hub zone all time throughout the ages.It was not only a courier station on Silk Roads but also a historical city for ancient empire's rehabilitation.It kept the collection of different national cultures because of its predominant geological location and advantageous natural environment that had created fascinating prairie civilization in the past,and now it needs to follow the pace of modern city.However,with the rapid development of economy,our original prairie civilization that mixed with all different cultures is facing the problems of culture corrosion and culture inheritance when the traditional residential houses are being replaced by batch manufacture of modern apartments.The inheritance of regional culture requires the common consciousness of the majority people who belong to this nation.Since the modern apartment will be the main residential area for most of people in ethnic minorities,more than the living place for normal person.So the modern apartment with the regional feature should be designed by expressing inheritance and promotion of local national cultures and inheriting its spirit through proper arrangement of space.This research aims to design rearrange the structure of housing space in such economic developing situation,design some new apartments which are suitable for inheritance of regional culture and to provide a stage for regional culture.The significance of this research: the practical use for the layout of the residential unit space should adapt the local custom characteristics,not only bring the convenience to lives of local people,but also plays an important role for the inheritance.In the long term,residential unit space will provide standard code for local architecture design according to local culture and feature based on basic layout design.The basic idea of this research as follows: Firstly,according to the investigation that introduce current culture development and city construction status of Emin county,this research analyses the contradiction between the present situation of the local culture development and urban construction in Anmin county that required for local cultural inheritance.Secondly,to find out the spatial pattern of local culture,analyze and quantify the space suitable for the inheritance and development of regional culture.Finally,according to the spatial pattern of quantitative space and regional culture,they design a suitable residential unit in the county.The main conclusions of this research are as follows: 1.the traditional housing structure of Emin County,provide the appropriate example of cultural housing structure;2.According to first conclusion,design a suitable housing structure for Emin County.
