With the development of tire mechanics and computer science,CAE,image processing and detection have been used in tire develop and research.CAE has a high accuracy and low cost,but the process is complicated,and users can only output basic mechanical quantities.These quantities need further calculation to be the aim property which users want.In tire test,laser detection and image processing become more and more popular because of its high accuracy and non-contact.This paper focus on the tire CAE and test technology,and develops a system.In CAE modular,system do the automatic modeling,simulating and secondary processing by using secondary development and hybrid programming.It contains tire parametric modeling sub-system,automatic simulation sub-system and a tire CAE database.CAE database base on Microsoft Access,system use SQL to interact data.CAE database stores data that CAE process needed.Tire parametric modeling sub-system can automatically build CAE model and set material properties by coding scripts.Automatic simulation sub-system can set different working conditions of tire and automatically do post-processing.System codes Python scripts and MATLAB algorithm scripts for function implementation.Test modular contains tire sidewall load scanning modular,tire profile measurement modular and tire footprint geometric modular.System developed high accuracy and low cost tire sidewall load scanning modular by using computer version and image processing.This paper build tire profile measurement modular by using laser detection.Modular contains three parts:a DC motor to adjust tire position,a displacement system to drive laser scanner,a data collection system to collect location information of tire surface.After test,this modular has a high accuracy.Tire footprint geometric modular.In this modular,system get the geometric properties by using image processing,rebuild the footprint in high accuracy.In this way,we can get the geometric properties quickly and accurate.System's error is lower than 1% by testing.
