In this paper, numerical simulation is used to study the effect of wind speed and tread pattern on the convection heat transfer on the tire surface and the corresponding characteristic equation is established. In this paper,a total of 5 air velocities,respectively,10m/s,15m/s,20m/s,25m/s,30m/s are set.At the same time,5 kinds of tread patterns,respectively,-30°,-15°,0°,15°,30° are established. Finally, the side shape of the tire is changed to be cambered, and the convective heat transfer law of the tire surface under different wind speeds and tread patterns were studied. The results show that:(1)For the 5 kinds of tire, with the increase of wind speed, the average convection heat transfer coefficient of the tire surface were significantly increased, and the average convective heat transfer coefficient of the tire sides is larger than the tread under the same wind speed.(2)Under the same wind speed, the average convective heat transfer coefficient of sides decreases with the increase of the pattern angle, but the effect of the angle of the pattern on the average convection heat transfer coefficient of tread is not obvious.(3)The relationship curve between the local convective heat transfer coefficient and the tread position of Z coordinate direction is gradually transformed from "V" to "W" shape with the increase of the pattern angle, but the relationship curve about tire sides do not change too much, the lateral local convective heat transfer coefficient decreasing with the increase of the radius.(4)After changing the side shape of the tire, the average convective heat transfer coefficient of sides and tread decreases with the increase of the pattern angle under the same wind speed.(5)For the tire whose lateral shape is cambered, the lateral local convective heat transfer coefficient increases with the increase of radius.
