Gearbox gear is a key component of the automobile drive system.Its production technology and equipment of the advanced nature to a certain extent,reflects the technical level of Chinese automobile industry.Gear automatic production line is the main trend of automobile gearbox gear processing technology because of less manual intervention,high degree of automation,safety and environmental friendliness.Under the strong support of Ministry of Industry and other ministries and commissions,automatic production line for gearbox gears for the development of equipment,has made significant progress.Optimizing the production line operating parameters and improving production efficiency have become an important research work later.This paper is based on car special seed fund project of basic scientific research in central colleges and universities named “performance analysis and optimization of automatic production line for gearbox gears”.The automatic production line for gearbox gears is taken as the research object,and the performance analysis is carried out through simulation modeling to provide an analytical basis for continuous optimization of production line performance.This paper first establishes the research frame of the performance analysis of the automatic production line for gearbox gears.The composition and production characteristics of automatic production line for gearbox gears are analyzed,the influence of the reliability of the machine,the buffer zone,and the distribution of the monitoring points on automatic production line for gearbox gears is discussed.The indicators of performance analysis of production lines are clarified,and the modeling techniques involved in performance analysis of production lines are discussed.Then,the paper discusses several possible buffer setting scheme of gearbox automatic production line.The EM-Plant simulation modeling tool is introduced.The modeling method of production line machine and buffer in EM-Plant simulation environment are discussed.The simulation model of gearbox automatic production line is established.Calculation program of production line performance indicators are written.And the validity of the simulation model is verified.Finally,the paper deeply studies the influence of buffer settings on the performance of the production line.Firstly,the influence of different buffer setting schemes on the productivity of the production line is analyzed.Then,the influence of the different buffer setting scheme on the machine utilization is analyzed.And influence laws between production line productivity and machine utilization with buffer size and location are obtained,which provides a theoretical analysis basis for optimizing the production buffer setting scheme.
