With the increasing demand for electricity,the electric power system in our country is gradually developing to ward to intelligent,complex,cyber and widespread direction.Powerusers' requirements for power quality are also getting higher and higher,therefore,it is of great significance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of power system.Fault recorder is the main equipment for fault analysis of railway power supply system,it is of great significance to analyze the railway power supply system operating conditions under normal and fault conditions through the data recorded by the fault recorder,which is of great significance for the treatment and prevention of railway power supply system faults.At the same time,it also plays an important role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of railway power supply system and improving the power quality.According to the performance requirements of the railway power supply system to the fault recorder,this paper designs a fault recorder based on embedded ARM as the hardware platform and Linux operating system as the software platform.The hardware includes signal conditioning module,data acquisition and processing module,communication module,power module,data storage module.The software part includes the porting of operating system and the design of application program.Finally,according to the design of the hardware and software,the overall performance of the fault recorder is tested,and the corresponding waveform and data are given.
