With the development of human economy and society,automobile as a vehicle in people's lives plays a pivotal role.Vehicle brings great convenience to mankind while also allowing people to face traffic congestion,road safety problems and many other challenges.Although traffic light control has been widely used,there are some shortages in our country thanks to complex control situation.This article has been studied the traffic control through fuzzy control method in order to save traffic efficiency,energy and achieve the intelligent control of the crossroads.Main summaries are listed below:1.The article has summarized status of fuzzy control technology,given a detailed instruction control traffic intersection.STC89C52-centered has been chosen as intelligent traffic control hardware platform and detailed introductions to software and hardware have been conducted.2.Vehicle arrives model has been established.This article has analyzed timing control,the traditional fuzzy control algorithm and the multistage fuzzy control algorithm.Traffic flow by setting the arrival rate of the vehicle,simulation experiments have been conducted under MATLAB environment.Average delay of vehicles and queue length has been analyzed.Result shows that multistage fuzzy control in big traffic flow is more advantageous than timing control and the traditional fuzzy control.3.System function and the actual control effect have been tested on the built control system.Keil uVsion3 programming software is used to software programming for chip.STCISP software is used to burn program to chip.Software testing simulation system and hardware combined for debugging.The article shows the design process in detail of the upper machine,parameter setting and implementation process.The contingency,randomness and uncertainty of traffic flow at different times make the traditional control method often cause the phenomenon that waste of the time and empty etc.When the vehicle needs to turn left and the other direction of the vehicle needs to go straight when prone to accidents.Turn left the vehicles easily with pedestrians on the sidewalk generate emulation,the intersection become jam.Timing control,the traditional fuzzy control and the multistage fuzzy control have been analyzed in control performance,power dissipation,adaptivity and cost to find the application that diffident traffic flow suitable scope.In the case of big traffic flow optimize control performance by using multistage fuzzy control,MATLAB prove validity.Analysis results show that the proposed control method have good control effect,low power dissipation and cost.
