In recent years,with the rapid development of automobile industry,China's automobile wheel hub production increased rapidly.Automobile wheel hub ma inly by low pressure casting and processing and manufacturing solid forging pr ocess,before the final plating and coating,need by grinding and polishing trea tment to remove surface scale and burr,smooth,flat surface processing,mecha nical polishing quality fit and unfit quality is a key factor affecting the quality of subsequent electroplating.Now for some complex spokes polishing with ma nual operation,therefore,the development can realize automatic polishing equip ment has important practical significance.Parallel mechanism with large stiffness,strong carrying capacity,high prec ision,rapid response etc,has the very good application prospect.Delta institutio ns is one of the institutions of parallel mechanism is relatively mature,this art icle adopts Delta institutions to design a new wheel polishing machine,able to complete fast for some complex curved surface polishing processing.In this paper,the main contents include: Delta mechanism of the composit e group,location analysis,solving inverse is,trajectory planning,singularity pr oblems,work space simulation,gear reducer design,polishing motor selection,drive motor selection and the design of the hardware control system,etc.According to the modern polishing process,the detailed design the polishi ng machine and manipulator end executor,namely,the polishing parts of the machine and polishing machine,jig calculation and design part of reducer,etc.Mathematical modeling analysis of combination mechanism,and positive a nd negative solutions solving position location planning,etc.,finally through M ATLAB software simulation to find the actuator at the end of the work space.Part of the hardware control the wheel polishing machine for the detailed design,finally proposed by industrial control,motion control card,motor and s tepper motor drives,rotary encoder control of power systems.
