With the rapid development of military science and technology,Electromagnetic gun as a super high-speed,ultra-high energy weapons were put forward.Electromagnetic railgun is a form of electromagnetic guns,the use of electromagnetic force to the projectile in a short time to accelerate to a high speed in the military,aerospace and scientific research has a wide range of applications.In this paper,we mainly study the performance of two pairs of rails with enhanced electromagnetic railguns by combining theory with simulation method.First,the circuit model of the electromagnetic rail gun firing process is established.The electromagnetic force,friction and air resistance of the armature in the gun chamber are analyzed,and the differential equation of armature motion is established.The Matlab / Simulink model of the electromagnetic railgun system was established,and analyzes the influence of power supply initial voltage,power supply capacitance,inductance gradient,armature quality,initial position of armature and the friction coefficient of pivot force on system performance.Secondly,the process of armature squeezing into the rail before the launch of the electromagnetic railgun system is studied.The contact between the armature and the guide rail is simulated by ANSYS Workbench software.The change of the armature's maximum equivalent stress,the contact pressure of the orbit and the supporting force of the orbit is analyzed with the parameters of the armature structure,and as well as its sensitivity to the structural parameters.On this basis,the armature structure is optimized by the response surface method.Thirdly,the current distribution of electromagnetic railgun is analyzed by classical electromagnetic theory.The simulation model of the enhanced electromagnetic railgun was established by means of electromagnetic simulation software Ansoft Maxwell.The current distribution in the armature and rail during the rise and fall of the current is analyzed.The influence of the change of the shape of the orbital contact surface on the current distribution of the contact surface is studied.And the current concentration of the armature tail is optimized and improved.Finally,the electromagnetic field coupling dynamics of the enhanced electromagnetic railgun is analyzed by ANSYS Workbench and Ansoft Maxwell software,obtaining the equivalent stress distribution and deformation of the electromagnetic tube cannon structure.Based on the analysis results of coupling dynamics,the design method of orthogonal test was used to optimize the structure parameters of electromagnetic railgun.
