| Among all the architectural components,irregular-shaped RC shear walls are the most common components for weight-bearing and lateral force resistance test,which deformation performance is of great importance on structure seismic performance.At present,the performance-based seismic design method in China’s current seismic code does not provide systematic quantitative deformation performance index,and also does not have deformation performance index when shear walls are on different parameter settings.Our research group has proposed the deformation index limits of RC shear walls(I-section,T-section and L-section shear walls)by using finite element analysis.In order to make a deep research on those fracture morphologies and formation indexes,the thesis makes an experimental study including the following aspects:(1)Through the comparison of 12 special-shaped RC shear walls(4 I-section,4 T-section and 4 L-section)with different axial compression and reinforcement ratio under low frequency cyclic loading,this thesis analyses those seismic performances,as well as those fracture morphologies and fracture processes.(2)By evaluating and amending previous determination method of irregular-shaped RC shear walls failure mode proposed by our research group,the thesis proposes a more accurate judgment standards.(3)With the reference of domestic and foreign documents,6 failure states are given to describe damage state of RC beam and column,which are intactness,minor damage,light medium damage,medium broken,severe broken and complete broken.The thesis proposes the method to define performance limits based on skeleton curves,confirming that the method and the experimental phenomenon are in very good correspondence.Besides,analyses and relevant researches of axial-load ratio,shear and stirrup ratio and shear stress levels are made according to above-mentioned performance limits.(4)In this thesis,amended index systems are put forward by analyzing previous index system proposed by our research group.According to the assessment of previous and amended index system and two foreign system(ASCE41-13、EC8),the thesis reveals the advantage of amended system.(5)The thesis makes an attempt to study the influence of irregular-shaped RC shear wall deformation limit index upon boundary element by making comparison of different shear walls with same key parameter but diverse section.The paper is concluded by claiming that by and large,the deformation limit index of I-section shear wall is larger than that of rectangle shear wall;the deformation limit index of T-section shear wall is a little lower than that of rectangle shear wall;the deformation limit index of L-section shear wall is larger than that of rectangle shear wall. |
