| Village is the basic unit of traditional Chinese society and the basic carrier of rural China. For a long time, the village space is often regarded as traditional, simple, pastoral, pedestrian scaled, and slash-and-burn agricultural intentions. The rural production and living ways are always changing and the space itself serves for production and living.Along with the policy of treating urban and rural areas as a whole, the rapid development of rural industrialization, modernization and the widely research of rural planning in recent years, village planning now ignores the impact of agricultural production mode for the space and cause the mismatch of village space with production mode.Based on the detailed field investigation and study in Yuejiawan village and from the perspective of the agricultural production mode, this paper will clarify the relationship between the change of agricultural production mode and the evolution of village space, explore the rule between them, and then try to construct the future vision of agricultural production mode based on our understanding of rural production mode under the background that Yuejiawan village agricultural production mode is in transition.Firstly,we choose Yuejiawan village, which has a good agricultural basis and relatively abundant of agricultural production in Min county,as a typical sample.Yuejiawan village, located in Min County of Gansu Province and represents the basic situation of Min County,is rich in mountains and lack of rain, natural resources and traffic facilities, which cause the backward economic situation.Secondly,we make a brief review of the agricultural development history of the village to deeply display the fundamental needs and the real life state of local farmers and the details of changes of living and production mode in four eras, which are respectively the era of traditional manual and animal labour, the era of excessive national ideology, the era of plant structure change and the era of mechanical processing plant structure change. Then,we compare the agricultural production with the life of farmers and rural spaces.According to the time sequence of the corresponding development of agriculture,we investigate how the space of Yuejiawan village adapts to the agricultural production and life style at that time and what corresponding changes the current village space has endured under the circumstance of agricultural production changes and living style. We discuss the changes in the evolution of village space mainly from five perspectives, namely, the human and land relationship, living space, street space, leisure space, and production space. Finally, through combing space evolution process,we present the development law of agricultural production mode changes and the evolution characteristics of spatial development and show the law and the impact of production mode changes on the development of village space.Based on the above research, this article points out that the changes of the agricultural production mode is the direct factors of the settlement space evolution in Yuejiawan village and the economic logic behind the change behaviour is the root of spatial changes. Moreover, the mechanical processing production mode has effectively promoted the rapid development of the village land for construction purposes. The changes of the agricultural production mode influence the space development in two ways. The living and production ways are always the foundation and key factors of village space construction. At the end of this article, based on the transition of agricultural production mode of Yuejiawan village,we construct the future vision of village space deployment, which meets the development requirements of Yuejiawan village and satisfies the development rules of production mode. |
