Strengthening concrete columns that using transversely prestressed strength steel strips is a new method,which can acheve the results that the steel strip on the column can work at the beginning of the coordination effect with the column deformation by applying prestressing to the steel strip.It also can overcome the hysteresis to a large extent in traditional method.In the engineering applications,this strengthening method also has many advantages such as convenient construction,low cost and good effect,and it has a very wide application prospect.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out in-depth systematic scientific research on this reinforcement method.In this paper,40 prestressed concrete columns(including 4 comparative specimens)were subjected to axial compression test.The results show that the prestressed concrete columns under different cross-section dimensions,strip spacing,layers,concrete strength and other conditions,the failure process of the specimen,the destruction of the form,the force of the steel belt,etc.Carefully observed and detailed record of the test phenomena and test data,drawing the specimen load-displacement curve,strip strain curve.The experimental phenomena and analysis show that the ultimate bearing capacity of concrete columns with prestressed concrete is greatly improved and the ductility is enhanced,the reinforcement effect is good.According to the experimental results and the experimental data,the Mander model is used to calculate the joint strength model of the prestressed concrete column with the constrained concrete column,and the prestressed concrete column is established by referring to the uniform strength model of the concrete filled steel tubular column and the revised relevant restraint model.The calculation formula of the axial load capacity is calculated and the calculated values of the two methods were compared with the experimental values.The two calculated values are in good agreement with the experimental values.It is shown that it is feasible to calculate the axial bearing capacity of the prestressed concrete columns by using the formula,which provides a theoretical reference for Engineering Applications.However,based on the actual application of technology,in the application of engineering projects,this paper recommends the use of combined axial pressure calculation formula for calculation.
