| The traditional civilization of the Chinese nation has produced many cities with long history.These cities have many paches such as:strict planning patterns,unique architectural styles,distinctive local features,integrating with the surrounding landscape.As a witness of historical changes,they have recorded the evolution of human civilization process with their own development.However,in the modern society with rapid development and rapid population growth,most of the ancient cities have been difficult to support the changing demands of urban space.With the increasing new functions,the charm of the ancient cities have disappeared.Turks is one of the National Famous Historical and Cultural Cities,and also a unique bagua city with structural integrity,formal form,large scale in the currently world.What's more,it concentrally expresses the Chinese traditional I Ching culture and the construction concept of western pastoral city.However,the present situation of urban construction and economic situation is unsatisfactory.The current main industries of Turks are agriculture and animal husbandry which made Turks a economically underdeveloped area.Due to the lack of overall long-term planning,The urban construction of Turks has been fragmented damage,basic service facilities are relatively lagging.In order to solve the problems facing the city,to improve the present situation environment,to develop the tourism economy,Turks government decided to build a new city,making the old Bagua City gradually into a tourist service center.The development of the tourism industry and the improvement of the economic level have brought unprecedented opportunities to Turks,but also caused the risks and pressures of the protection to the National Famous Historical and Cultural of Turks.From the overall perspective,the key issue of this research is the parallel of development and protection.During the internship in Qu Peiqing Studio of the Northwest Architectural Design Research Institute of China,the author was very honored to participate in the project of "Xinjiang Yili Turks Bagua City transformation concept planning",start the urban transformation planning project with the design team,on the base to discuss and research deeply.First of all,summed up the analysis of domestic and international historical,cultural heritage protection theory and practice of international trends,as the theoretical basis of this study.Secondly,the study of the layout of urban planning,the spatial structure of the unit,the environment of the whole neighborhood and the architectural style of Turks Bagua City are investigated.Analyze the characteristics of the city resources,cultural value,historical style,urban function,function distribution,business format and tourist facilities.Research the contents of cultural tourism resources and the development space of Bagua City,and put forward the specific problems that the Bagua City faces in protection and renewal.Again,combining with the actual research cases,compare and analyze the other representative cities.Explore the specific measures that apply to the protection and renewal of the Turks.Through the field investigation and project research,deeply analyze the protection and renewal model of seven historical towns of Pingyao,Fenghuang,Chenlu,Shuhe,Dapeng,Huiyuan and Palma Nova.To explore the Bagua City's protection and updation,understanding how to protect and how to update.Finally,analyze the comparative study of representative success stories similar to Bagua City and on the basis to analyze the historical and cultural resources of Turks.According to the actual situation,this paper summarizes the reform and renewal mode of Turks Bagua City and the implementation strategy,and puts forward the design strategy of historical urban area structural protection,overall style renewal and cultural tourism development. |
