Research On The Protection And Tourism Development Of The Ancient City Walls

China’s ancient city walls have a long history and culture,and those are outstanding historical and cultural heritage. At present, China’s ancient city walls are also trying to adopt the binding mode of the Ming and qing dynasties ancient city wall for joint properties. This article through literature exploration and practical research investigation to three greatly influenced Chinese ancient city walls in Ming and qing dynasties —— kaifeng ancient city wall, xi ’an ancient city wall, nanjing ancient city wall, found that there are some problems should to be solved in protection and development work of the ancient city walls. For the ancient city walls whose protection and development work need to be perfect, be badly in need of experience for reference and theoretical guidance in protection and development work.This article combined with questionnaire investigation in the research process in protection and development status of kaifeng, xi’an, nanjing ancient city walls, the early stage of the investigation on the basis of high or low level of the gross domestic product per head in kaifeng, xi ’an, and nanjing in order to decide the economic development level of three cities, nanjing economic development level is higher than xi ’an, xi ’an economic development level is higher than in kaifeng. In accordance with the economic development level of cities in which the ancient city walls locate, this article put forward three hypotheses: hypothesis 1, Six main factors of the tourism——traveling, tasting,residing,purchasing and entertaining around the ancient city wall in the city of highest economic development level make the tourists’ satisfaction highest, namely six main factors of the tourism——traveling, tasting,residing,purchasing and entertaining around the ancient city wall of nanjing make the tourists’ satisfaction highest,xi’an next, kaifeng’s satisfaction is the worst; Assumption 2, the protection of the ancient city wall in the city of highest economic development level do the best job, namely the protection of the ancient city wall in nanjing do the best job, xi’an next, kaifeng’s worst; Hypothesis 3, tourism development of ancient city wall in the city of highest economic development level is most scientific, namely tourism development of ancient city wall in nanjing is most scientific, xi ’an next, kai feng is most unreasonable.In the process of the analysis of the questionnaire data,the author finds hypothesis 1, hypothesis 2 and hypothesis 3 are error, which shows that the stand or fall of the protection and the development work of ancient city walls and the economic development level of the city in which ancient city walls locate is not a positive correlation. In the protection and development work of the ancient city walls,the concrete work deployment should be carried out according to the specific situation of the ancient city wall.This article combine with the domestic and foreign outstanding case in protection and development work of the ancient city wall,take example by the experience of its protection and development work,and combine with some problems existing in the protection and development work which in the process of the research of domestic ancient city wall find.For the protection and development work of domestic ancient city wall,this article put forward some opinions and suggestions from three angles of the government tourists and local residents. This research is divided into three parts, six chapters:The first part is the first chapter which is the introduction and the second chapter which is the study of theory in protection and tourism development of the ancient city wall, mainly is the reviewed research both at home and abroad as well as the theoretical foundation of the ancient city wall protection and tourism development. The second part is chapter three which display the field exploration situation,the fourth chapter, questionnaire design, the fifth chapter which is analysis department,mainly the investigation and analysis according to the present situation and problems of protection and tourism development of the ancient city wall of kaifeng, xi ’an, nanjing. The third part is the sixth chapter which put forward opinions and suggestions and the conclusion part, mainly provide some suggestions to the protection and tourism development work of ancient city wall and put forward a prospect for the future development situation the of the ancient city walls.
