Research On Present Condition And Redevelopment Of Small Life Commercial Space In Xi'an Ming City Area

The City Wall is a symbol of Xi'an.In the wall,there are many old communities,while the rich neighborhood life and social relations are focused on this.And all of these are Xi'an people's memories of urban space intention.Such as the cheap department store,ancestral snack shop,familiar clothing store,distinctive fruit stall and street barber,all of these are not only commercial space,but also the outdoor reception hall that be used to communicate with others,exchange information and promote neighborhood relations.With the increase in traffic volume and the arrival of bussines centers,such as upper-scale restaurants,bars,coffee-house,and so on.In the meanwhile,there are many contradiction here.It is the focus of this article to create a high quality and full of life business environment.The first,the author studies the theory,method and practice about of transformation of the small commercial space in the historic center home and abroad,then it investigates south part of the Xi'an City Wall of Ming Dynasty,which from Zhuque men to east and Dong Xi da jie to south.And sieve its Daily Living street to investigate deeply and excavate its historical context.Next,I analyze its business layout,format,classification,quantity,block space,commercial and residential situation.It finds its potential problems.It puts forward some useful amendments.First of all,It organizes and reuse space without major demolition and reform.Then,we perform local renovation with which small-scale,timely and properly method.In the end,We gradually updated the real-life commercial space.At the end of article,we can summarize the methods of reconstruction of Xi'an small business circle,and provide feasibility support for extending to countrywide business district transformation as well...
