With the increasing demand for mobility,economy and quietness of naval ships,the integrated electric propulsion system of ships has come into being.Main engine and all loads are connected by electrical structure.Thus,any fluctuation of load influences the operation characteristics and the stability of the whole ship directly.The input of high energy weapon,the start/stop of high-power equipment and the change of propulsion system's working condition will cause instantaneous load change.While ship power grid is isolated with small capacity,which is more sensitive to load disturbance than surface power grid.In order to ensure the stability and reliability of the ship power system,higher requirements for the speed control performance are put forward.In this passage,gas turbine power generation system,power conversion module,a typical power load module(including propulsion system,electromagnetic railgun,and daily load),complete shipboard power system and the propeller movement module are established under the platform of Matlab/Simulink software.And then,simulated the power characteristics of typical loads under different working conditions,such as starting process,acceleration and deceleration process,electromagnetic railgun charging and ejection process.Through simulation and analysis,we can have a better recognization of load characteristics,which is helpful to choose and design a suitable control system.And then established speed control system,temperature control system,acceleration control system,and inlet guide vane angle control system targeting at the object in this paper.The simulation results show that in most cases,the control strategy has good speed control performance.But to some heavy load,the stabilizing time is long.Therefore,the fuel feed forward device is introduced to stabilize the fluctuation of the power grid by increasing the oil quantity in advance.In the aspect of physical structure,flywheel energy storage device is added,and then studied its working mode switching strategy.The simulation results show that these two methods is helpful to stably the fluctuation of ship integrated power system after loads.
