Research The Effect Of The Reclamation Dredging Soft Clay With Drainage And Preloading Method In Huizhou Port Area

Reclamation-engineering is an important way to solve the problem of the shortage of land resources. However the manly way to form the land is reclamation and dredging. But the reclamation dredging soft clay is a kind of Ultra-soft clay with complex components and special structure. Drainage preloading is one of the effective methods of reinforcement of soft clay. Its principle is by setting the vertical drain in the saturated clay, using the hierarchical load preloading, discharging the pore water in the clay, reducing the pressure of it, increasing the effective stress of the clay, consolidating the clay gradually, making the foundation settlement achieved ahead of the schedule or completed basically, in order to increase the bearing capacity of foundation, reduce the post-construction settlement.In this paper, case study on the reclamation dredging soft clay with drainage and preloading method in Hui zhou Quan wan. Analyze the effect and the problem during the construction process, compare to other examples of similar projects laterally, some suggestions are put forward.
