As welding technology is widely using in the petrochemical engineering construction industry, and the quality of welding plays an important role to impact the operational safety of these petrochemical plants. NDT is one of the most important techniques to monitor the welding quality, is used to detect the enclosed welding defects, analyze the root causes of the defects to improve the acceptance percentage of the welds. However, these factors, such as:the lengthy data-exchange chain, complex work-flow, a slow information-feedback, limited the process of welding quality control. With the development of internet and digitization technology, the said question then became how to tackle such a daunting challenge of the conventional welding inspection and quality management techniques arise from the new technological, environmental, informational requirements.In this paper, we finalized an intelligent NDT monitoring system, based on the fundamentals of welding quality management and its current situation in this industry, after the analysis of welding quality management software applications in engineering construction companies.This paper process the investigation method to collect the needs from the potential stakeholders as the investor, the independence third party, contractor, construction team, NDT company etc. and build an intelligent welding quality NDT management system, after a need analysis, system analysis, process analysis. This system consists an imagine digitization module, an intelligent imagine-evaluation Module and a remote data management Module.
