UITS'S development,construction and application are an important support condition with the development of intelligent city all over the world.Among them,ATMS(Advanced Traffic Management System)is the key areas of UITS'S development,construction and applications.The planning and construction of ATMS should be compatible with the regional traffic characteristics and meet the actual needs of local traffic management for ATMS technology applications.Some related cities in Xinjiang have built the ATMS basic platform for implementation not for Site traffic management.Commonly used technical means is through the distribution of a field in the field of a cross-border video monitor to the ATMS'S center large screen which included small area real-time live images are composed by a flat junction and its short distance associated road segment and can switch manual video,artificial judgments towards traffic status depend on the traffic control experiences.Because of the small range of visibility,the discontinuity of spatial information and the randomness of state judgment,Existed ATMS has not yet achieved the excepted traffic control effect.This paper address the functional expansion of the basic platform in Xinjiang'S ATMS.In order to solve the problem of low density in video monitors which lead to the problems of insufficient traffic state space information,and the non quantitative problem with the detemination of network traffic status.And design the mini real model platform of urban road network and combine it with the big screen of ATMS Center.It shows the traffic status judgment information of the road network and the real-time scene information and the control information of the target level intersection synchronously.
